Tour Details
This itinerary gives you the chance to witness the rich cultural history in the capital Kathmandu, the mountain landscapes of Pokhara, and the wildlife in the famous Chitwan National Park. Note that during the rainy season in August and sometimes September as well, visiting Chitwan Park is not recommended.
Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu in the night of Day 1 or early in the morning of Day 2. Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Day 02
Visits and experiences in the Kathmandu Valley, such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, and the Boudhanath and Swayambhunath stupas. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03
Half-day visits in Kathmandu, visiting Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Squares, then continue to Nagarkot, an ideal place to see the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. Arrival in Nagarkot and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Nagarkot.
Day 04
After enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Nagarkot, travel to Pokhara, the city of lakes. Arrival in Pokhara and check-in at your hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 05
Visits and experiences in Pokhara, such as a boat ride on Phewa Lake, visit to the Tal Barahi temple, World Peace Stupa, among other interesting places. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 06
Travel to Chitwan. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Free afternoon. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 07
Full day of activities in Chitwan such as canoe ride and jeep safari in Chitwan National Park. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 08
Return to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu or, depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport to catch your return flight or onward flight departing in the night of day 8 or the morning of day 9.
